Personal Videos

Creative development, video & editing

Here are some personal videos I’ve created, inspired by my environment and the films I watch. They explore visual storytelling, rhythm, and mood, capturing ideas that resonate with me and translating them into moving images. Through this work, I experiment with composition, editing, and atmosphere, aiming to create visuals that feel both personal and a bit cinematic.

I like going to Auckland

I came up with the concept for this video during a night in Auckland before heading up north. Inspired by Chungking Express (1994), it became an exploration of home, memory, and the feeling of holding onto familiar moments.

Chapter 28

This is a short video I created for my birthday. It’s a visual exploration of self-reflection and gratitude, translating moments of growth, patience, and memory into a cinematic language. The video mirrors the ideas in my script, capturing stillness, transition, and the feeling of stepping into a new chapter of life.

Canopy Escape

I created this short video as we did a Canopy Escape Camping up north of New Zealand. Through the footage, I explored the textures of light, the rhythms of the outdoors, and the small, fleeting moments that make a trip memorable.
